Distinctive Insignia

A legacy is something that is left to others when one is gone. The Americal Division Veterans Association created its Legacy Committee to develop a legacy for veterans of the Americal Division and 23rd Infantry Division. Part of the legacy will be the creation and construction of fitting memorials to the veterans that served in all units of these two proud U.S. Army infantry divisions.

Fundraising

Fundraising for the Legacy Committee projects has already begun. One of the first activities is the production and sale of a special collectible pocket knife. There will only be 300 of these knives produced and offered for sale.
