ADVA Membership Information

Invitation to become a member of the ADVA

Eligible veterans are cordially invited and welcomed to join the Americal Division Veterans Association. The association was formed in 1945 and currently has over 3,000 members. Associate memberships are also available. The information below will tell you more about the ADVA and how you may become a member.

AMERICAL JOURNAL

One of the great benefits of membership in the ADVA is the AMERICAL JOURNAL magazine. This forty page full-color magazine is published quarterly and sent to over 3,000 ADVA members. Click here to see a sample copy of the magazine.

Eligibility

Membership in ADVA is open to all officers and enlisted personnel who served with the Americal Division or the 23rd Infantry Division in an assigned or attached status during the following periods:

  • 1942-1945 World War II (South Pacific)
  • 1954-1956 Korea (Caribbean)
  • 1967-1973 Vietnam

Eligibility includes those who served with Task Force 6814 and Task Force Oregon. Branch of service is immaterial.

Dues

ADVA dues are as follows:

  • $12 annual age 75 or over
  • $15 annual under age 75
  • $75 life age 75 or over
  • $165 life under age 75

Information Pamphlet

You are invited to view a four-page full color ADVA information pamphlet. This is a 1.5 MB PDF file. The first panel is inverted so the pamphlet can be folded and sent through the mail.
