Description:The Americal Division World War II Museum is located on the second floor of the Massachusetts National Guard Military Museum and Archives, Worcester, Massachusetts. Both museums are housed in an historic National Guard armory which was completed in 1891. The armory is on the National Historic Register.

The Americal Museum portion will be under a modernization project during 2006-2007, which will greatly expand its exhibits and ultimatly serve as the largest non-government source of materials, culture, history, and documents related to the Americal Division in World War II. Included in the revitalization will be a research area for historians to view and copy documents, artifacts, etc.

During the revitalization process, individuals wishing to donate materials or inquire about holdings at the museum should contact David W. Taylor as listed above.
