January 1996

I really haven't looked it all over yet. I was with the 196th Light Inf. Brdg. 67-68

I would really like to hook up with someone from HQ HHB 3/18 Artillery or with A battery. VietNam 67-68. Thanks for providing this service

Still looking it over. Very Good so far

My Uncle Eddie Danielewicz served in the 132 Rgt in WWII, so when I saw this page, I had to look into it. You have an Excellent, informative page. I can tell you have great pride in this famous unit. I'm sorry I don't know the E-mail address here, as I'm borrowing this machine and the rest of the house has gone to sleep!

This HP peaked my interest since I am a charter member of the AMERICAL in Vietnam. Helicopter crewchief with A/123rd Avn BN at Chu lai.

Have a dear friend who was wounded while a member of the Americal Div. while serving in the Solomon Islands and other WW2 campaigns. He was a member of the 754th. Tank Bn. 23rd Div. I am printing out all ADVA information and getting to him. If he is interested I will get him to watch your wonderful and historic web page. Thank you -P.S. I served in WW2 in the European campaign and wish our outfits had such comprehensive information. Great job for all veterans.

Damn, just saw the URL in a news group and had to check it out ! 1 1/2 tours with 71st AHC and an interrupted tour with F Troop 8/1st Cav.

I discovered your Americal Division homepage by (lucky) accident. I always wondered how the division got its name. I work at the Dallas Texas VA Hospital, and am frequently asked by veterans how to locate a long-lost buddy (especially Vietnam veterans). I'd be glad for info on this. Thanks for a fine Web site.

I am impressed with with your home page. I served with D 2/1 196th LIB Jan 4 1968 to Jan 6 1969.

48th Scout Dog, 196th, LZ Baldy, 1968-69. Any other handlers out there? We have our own association. Great Web page, folks. Keep it up!...and thanks

Americal Vet... 14th Cbt Avn Bn, Chu Lai, 2/70 -2/71

Great page, very well done.

Great, was in VN 67-68 around Chu Lai with H troop 17 Cav. 198 LID

Please send me more information about the ADVA. Sounds like a good idea to me.

With "B" Co 1/20 11th, Duc Pho Oct 68-Mar 69 then with Mars station AB8AAH till Nov 69.

Was member of HHC/196th Inf Brigade /23Inf Div from May 1970 to Mar 1971. Was assigned to the Brigade MARS station AB8AX. Nice to see the Americal Division represented on the web... Regards, Dave Frandin

I was a medic with the 3/21, 196th LIB in 1970. Anyone else out there I might know? Write me if you're there. Mike

Glad to know you're here. Keep up the good work.

Served in the Americal 69-70 132 ASHC

Great Web site -- didn't know the Americal has an association.

Excellent Home Page. I'd like to see more from members of 11thLIB.

My father served with the Division 1968-69. I am looking to get more information and to sign him up as a member. "Ed"

You guys have done wonderful work. Keep it up! http://www.earthlink.net/~amerwar/

Great looking page. Great start. Hope to locate some from my unit-Btry G 55th Arty (Quad 50's). Gary, noticed your name mentioned in Nolan's "Sappers in the Wire". That is you isn't it?

I think it is great....I am behind in my dues...oops!.. but should be able to catch up the end of the month...keep up the good work....

Nice page. I am Editor of 196th Light Infantry Brigade newsletter. If 196th can put a page together, we would probably like a link to your page. I never served in Americal, was original 196th and transfered before becoming part of Americal.

Have just looked into page no thoughts as of yet...but glad to see it here-

It was comforting to see this on the WEB. Especially from my unit. This is a cool site and I'll visit it often. Thank you. SGT James Scotty" O'Loughlin; Recon SGT 3/16th FA; RVN 1969-71"

My dad was in the 164th Inf Reg (Americal Div) 1941-45. Went to Guadalcanal with the Marines. Son of a member.

Great page. Keep up the good work. Hope that my outfit can one day have as nice a page as yours. You are to be commended. Welcome Home. Mike

Excellent job creating this page on the web. I will spread the word. SYM85A@prodigy.com
