I tried to look up info on my dad's Army career when he was over in Vietnam but I couldn't get far enough to see the rest of his troop. If you could send me info on his unit I would be very thankful. He was in the 1st Squardern 1st Calvery.

Researching My Father's WW2 Exp. 182nd\G. Great site.

At this point, I have mixed feelings.

looking for a copy of "Under The Southern Cross" for my dad.

I was there.

Nice page. I'm running for U.S. Congress, first district, Massachusetts (western 1/3 of state).

Greg
C/3/1, 11th INF BDE

Thanks

Was surprised to find this web page. Did not recognize any of the names, but can't remember many anyway. I pray that all are doing well. Be proud of who you are and of your contribution to the country. I went over in 68, came home in 69. Got on with the rest of my life which is what we all should do. Pray for those who came home and those who did not, be sad for a moment then let it go.

I HAVE NONE AT THE PRESENT TIME

My grandfather is Byron Willard Venis. He is vet of WWII. In starting our family genealogy I wanted to include all of his military information I could find. Your complete web sites for the veterans is very informative. I am very proud to be his grandaughter. And for what he did for his country. My uncle Danny Jay Venis is retiring this year from the US AIR FORCE. He too has dedicated his life for our country and has earned my respect as well for his unselfishness to his country and family. Thank you for making it possible for me to express my gratitude to you for your sites that have helped me greatly.

Sincerely,

Well done! I served in supply with 161st at Qui Nhon, then moved to Chu Lai. 161 deactivated just prior to my deros in '68, but I got to wear the Americal patch home. Still have my dress greens. I remember the move from south of Chu Lai back to Ky Ha after we got our butts kicked by the rockets during Tet '68. Looking for WO Phillip Found, or Sp/4 Lew Jones of Ainsworth, Neb.

Great web site! I had the honor to serve in Nam as a platoon leader with the 3d Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 25th Division in 70-71. Also, flew with the Ghostriders of the 60th Aviation Company in 72-73. 22nd Infantry Regiment Society is seeking all former "Regulars," offering camaraderie, fellowship, a quarterly newsletter, biannual reunions, and a Web Page at http://www.22ndinfantry.org
